A recent project involved an 8-cavity micro-injection mold designed for CT-11.7 material; the extremely small cavity dimensions demanded exceptional machining precision and cavity-to-cavity consistency. To ensure stable production, our engineering team meticulously optimized runner balance, gate design, and cooling systems prior to manufacturing, utilizing DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis and Moldflow simulation technologies. Through precision CNC machining, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), and comprehensive CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspection, we ensured that every cavity met strict dimensional tolerance standards, thereby supporting reliable mass production.
Another delivered project was a single-cavity injection mold for a PP-GF30 pump component featuring external threads. Glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF30) presents unique challenges for mold manufacturing due to its abrasive nature and demanding molding requirements. By optimizing the mold structure, Hongke Mould improved material flow, ensured thread precision, and extended the mold's service life, all while guaranteeing molding stability during continuous production.
